SOMA is a Norwegian duo formed by brothers Marcus and Sondre from Sandefjord, who have been making music together since childhood.

Their story began as 2Boys. As teenagers, they reached the final of Norway’s MGPjr, released original music and toured extensively throughout Germany, playing more than 40 shows and making several television appearances. Their journey also received coverage from outlets including BRAVO and Disney Channel.

2Boys eventually evolved into SOMA — a more mature project shaped by Norwegian pop, R&B and electronic influences, with the brothers taking a central role in both songwriting and production. After several years of radio airplay, millions of streams and playlist placements including New Music Friday, the project went on hiatus.

During the break, Marcus continued exploring his own sound through his solo project, Marci. In time, the brothers found their way back to where it all began: making music together.

Now SOMA is returning with new music. With “Bare oss,” the duo opens a new chapter — warmer, more organic and more timeless, blending Norwegian pop with country, R&B and vintage analogue textures.
